Peint O Gwrw
This is the name of a charming pub located in Chatham, NY. "Pint of
Ale" as the title translates, is a non-smoking pub furnished ina Welsh
Gothic style. It features all kinds of neat beer on tap as well as
simple pub food.
The pub is owned and operated by one of our society members, Tom Hope.
Please stop by the pub and show your support.
If you drive into the center of Chatham on the Main Street, his pub is
right in the main block....you can't miss it.
WNGGA (Welsh National Gymanfa Ganu Association)
This is the organization that publishes the bilingual hymnal
that is the "official" source for hymnody for the gymanfa ganu hymn
singing tradition.
Northamerican Festival of Wales
This is a weekend northamerican festival, held annually on the
Labor Day weekend, that is "the Welsh experience." The host city
rotates each year. There is hymnody, crafts, guest entertainers,
choirs, and other Welsh cultural items.
